“El Camino” picks up just hours after the events of the “Breaking Bad” finale. Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is on-the-run from the Albuquerque police department — they don’t know his identity but are inching closer to a match. That’s about all we know. No plot-filled synopsis has been offered by Netflix, who is distributing the movie, but bet on Walter White (Bryan Cranston) showing up via flashbacks Cranston teased earlier this year to Entertainment Online that Walter “Could be [in] a flashback, or a flash-forward. I’m still dead, Walter White, I don’t know what [could happen.]”
A few months back we were one of the first sites to report that Vince Gilligan was going to shoot the “Breaking Bad” movie in New Mexico. We had later confirmed, through Revenge of the Fans, that the cast would include several key “Breaking Bad” players, such as Jonathan Banks (Mike), Jesse Plemons (Todd), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman), Kevin Rankin (Kenny) and, yes, Bryan Cranston as Walter White.
