Daniel Craig’s upcoming and final film as 007, “Bond 25,” is now be officially titled “No Time to Die.” The upcoming Cary Fukunaga-directed film stars Craig as Bond and Rami Malek as the villain looking to genetically engineer a new threat to 007.
The title itself, “No Time to Die,” harkens back to older Bond titles such as “Live and Let Die,” “You Only Live Twice,” and “Tomorrow Never Dies.” and the newly released synopsis does seem to give us a very Bond-esque plot, filled with evil scientists, a race against the clock and CIA/Mi6 intrigue:
In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Craig and Malek will be joined by actors Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Billy Magnussen in the film.
“No Time to Die” will arrive in the UK on April 3, 2020, and in the US on April 8, 2020.
