According to a report by French newspaper Charente Libre, Wes Anderson’s next film will be a musical set in Post-WWII France. Sign me up please, ASAP.
I had previously written about the film: "Director Wes Andersonis known to take his time in-between each released film of his. However, it seems that soon after this year's "Isle of Dogs," Anderson jumped right into another project, which could potentially be released next year."
"Yesterday I wrote about Anderson prepping his 10th feature film with production set to begin in February 2019 and wrapping on May 2019. No details were known about the plot/setting but now, according to French publication Sud Ouest, it this mysterious new project will take place in France and be set right after World War II. "
"Anderson, an avid Francophile, lives in France and so it is not that surprising to hear he will be writing looks to be, by all accounts, a French story."
