Congrats movie fans, you've helped "Jurassic World," one of the worst movies of the year, make close to $1B worldwide

No, I did not review "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," Why? Because, frankly, I don't really have much to say about it. I haven't liked a "Jurassic Park" movie since the original and, yet, I've seen all four sequels. I have also spoken to many people that had no interest in this latest film whatsoever. So who were the people that actually bought a ticket to "Fallen Kingdom" this past weekend?
Box-Office Mojo is showing that the film has destroyed all competition at the week-end box-office. Hell, it made $17.5 million yesterday in the U.S. alone, on its second weekend of release. Worldwide it is at $826,454,064 ($222,225,335 domestically).
2015’s "Jurassic World" was no slouch either, garnering close to $1.672 billion at the box-office. What scares me most about the success of "Jurassic World" is mainstream audiences willingness to adhere this kind of dumbing down of, even, a mainstream movie.
