Oh give me a break, Michael Caine. He's just joined a, sadly, growing list of actors that are saying they just won’t work with Woody Allen again. If you remember, Caine won the Oscar for his role in Allen's classic “Hannah and Her Sisters.” He does say he doesn’t regret that collaboration, but would never work with him again.”
“I am a patron of the NSPCC [National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children] and have very strong views about pedophilia,” Caine told the Guardian. “I can’t come to terms with [the allegation], because I loved Woody and had a wonderful time with him. I even introduced him to Mia [Farrow]. I don’t regret working with him, which I did in complete innocence; but I wouldn’t work with him again, no."
So Caine now joins Greta Gerwig, Rebecca Hall, David Krumholtz, and Ellen Page. His best role was in Woody Allen's film, where he also wore the coolest glasses in cinematic history, but, come on, give me a break, you're telling me he didn't know about these accusations all these years? He's only condemning Allen now?
Hypocrite.
