We know a lot is going to change for Marvel's cinematic universe, with the upcoming two ‘Avengers’ films basically signaling the end of an era. However, we didn't expect Chris Evans to blatantly just say it: This is his last hurrah as Captain America.
Doing press and speaking to The New York Times in a new interview, Evans basically said this is it for him “You want to get off the train before they push you off,” he said. The report says Evans “expects that planned reshoots in the fall will mark the end of his tenure in the familiar red, white and blue super suit.”
Cap was the heart and soul of the MCU, who will take over? Black Panther? Spidey? Captain Marvel? Evans' Captain America stole Iron Man's thunder and quickly became the go-to-hero for the Marvel movies. It helps that "The Winter Soldier" and "Civil War" were two of the very best movies of the universe, maybe the two best alongside 2008's "Iron Man."
