I believe we might have a Best Picture nominee here. No, really, why not? This just looks far and away better, in every aspect, to "The Force Awakens." I've been a fan of Rian Johnson's since his debut and I stand by my assertion that he is the most talented director to ever helm a "Star Wars" movie. You will not have the by-the-books narrative tropes that were in JJ Abrams trilogy kick-starter, no, this film looks like it will delve into far darker places imaginable. It's really no surprise that comparisons to "The Empire Strikes Back" are already being made. All this to say, I'm actually that huge of a "Star Wars" fan, so doesn't say everything you need to know about how effective this trailer is?
