As if Guillermo Del Toro wasn't awesome enough, this Variety article is fantastic. You enter his place and a "big, bearded Mexican who emerges, Bilbo Baggins-like, to hug the latest visitor to his domain."

Guillermo Del Toro Variety Feature Story

I am very much looking forward to Guillermo Del Toro's "The Shape of Water" which has, so far, been the toast of the town at the Venice Film Festival. It currently sits at a 97 Metacritic score based on 9 reviews. I am totally onboard with whatever Del Toro does, I even loved "Crimson Peak." I made sure he knew how I felt when I bumped into him at a hotel this past May at Cannes, I started the conversation by saying "You're awesome." He really is and here's more proof.

"The first thing that strikes you on visiting his Bleak House mansion in Thousand Oaks, which is packed with movie and monster memorabilia, is the terrifying, life-size demon that appears to be lunging down the hallway and toward any would-be intruder (a memento from the first “Hellboy” movie). But a close second would be the big, bearded Mexican who emerges, Bilbo Baggins-like, to hug the latest visitor to his domain."
