Tomas Alfredson's "The Snowman" feels Fincher-esque

This is right up my alley of cinematic obsessions. David Fincher has influenced countless filmmakers this last decade, just look at Denis Villeneuve as a prime example. It seems like Tomas Alfredson ("Let the Right One In" and "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") has more or less used Fincher's visual palette from his remake of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," nothing wrong with that. Alfredson is very talented, helming from Sweden no less, and, if this film has the critical backing, he will likely take the next step forward in Hollywood.

“The Snowman” stars Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson as Katrine Bratt, J.K. SimmonsToby JonesJakob OftebroChloë Sevigny, and Val Kilmer and opens on October 20th.
