Why even bother? They're skipping the 2nd and 3rd book. No Daniel Craig, no Rooney Mara and no David Fincher. Also who had the braindead idea to do the 4th book, which is widely considered to be the worst one of the series? Incredibly strange decision by Sony on this one. Fede Alvarez is a promising director, "Don't Breathe" proved that, but it will be very hard for him to match what Fincher did with the 2011 film [Original Review].
