IMDB has revealed the running time for Warner Bros' upcoming "Justice League." Surprise! For any complaints some folks might have had about last year's "Batman vs Superman" being too long, well Zack Snyder has decided to ignore those haters. "Justice League" is listed as having a running time of 2 hours and 50 minutes. That's right 170 minutes. The theatrical release of BvS was 151 minutes, which then led to a much lengthier "director's cut" on DVD. Maybe this time around Warner Bros. wanted to just let Snyder have the definite cut due, in part, to the mostly positive reaction BvS's director's cut go upon release.
The cast for "Justice League" goes like this: Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
Obviously this running time might not stay put, we're still 8 months away from the film's release date, but it seems to be the length that Snyder probably wants. Test screenings might change that or might now. Who knows.
"Justice League" comes out on November 17.
