India's film censor board removed scenes of Vin Diesel drinking soda in xXx: THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE

Oh god, this is a tough one. Do I hate product placement more or do I hate censorship more? I don't even know how to feel. This seems unnecessary. Can't they just rate the movie as 18+ and let it be as it is? Why censor alcohol and implied sexuality/ nudity if you could just prevent minors from seeing it?
