Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed in a Toronto Sun interview that Michael Keaton will play the Vulture in the upcoming “Spider-Man” reboot.
“We’ve had a wish list, and most of them in the near-term are coming together,” “Cate Blanchett is playing Hela in ‘Thor: Ragnarok.’ Michael Keaton’s Vulture in ‘Spider-Man’ is something. And of course, finally, we’re showcasing Josh Brolin’s Thanos [in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’]. We’re looking forward to that very much"

Keaton is no stranger to the superhero genre, he, of course, played Batman in the first two classic Tim Burton films ("Batman" and "Batman Returns"). He's also had a fantastic comeback this past decade aftr years away from the lime light, starring in Oscar-winning films "Birdman" and "Spotlight." It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

The film also has Tom Holland playing a 15-year-old Peter Parker. The rest of the cast also includes Donald Glover, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Jon Favreau and Tony Revolori. “Spider-Man: Homecoming” gets released on July 7, 2017.

It has also been reported that Tom Holland's contract is for, count 'em, six Spider-Man films. That is what he reported to The Hollywood Reporter earlier last week. 3 solo Spidey films and 3 appearances in other Marvel franchises.

I have been skeptical about the Franchise being rebooted yet again and this doesn't really change my mind, even though Holland was one of the highlights of Captain America: Civil War and did show some promise for what was to come, but, c'mon folks, this is a blatant money grab from Marvel.
