'Deadpool 2' director, Tim Miller, exits sequel over creative differences

According to Variety, Director  Tim Miller has dropped out of  'Deadpool 2' due to creative to creative differences with his star Ryan Reynolds.

Miller and Reynolds hit pay dirt with 'Deadpool' earlier in the year having grossed $786M worldwide and becoming the surprise success of year.

This is a major blow on the sequel. 'Deadpool' felt like fresh counter-programming to the usual superhero movie and had many fans highly anticipating its sequel. I do stand by my notion that shooting a sequel to a film that seems to be against the money-making super-hero machine is a bad idea and will not resonate as much the second time around. This is nevertheless very disappointing considering Miller's direction in the original felt fresh and inventive.
