The Toronto International Film Festival is set to announce its first set of titles for the 2022 edition next week. A larger batch of selections will be announced in July, which is also when the Venice Film Festival announces its entire lineup.

With the knowledge that Wes Anderson, and Jonathan Glazer Are now 2023 films. Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” and Ari Aster’s “Disappointment Blvd” currently in limbo (although that could change). And that means Scorsese, Fincher, O. Russell, Del Toro, Mendes, Chazelle and Spielberg are all skipping the fall fests.

I’ve gathered 70 movies that could screen during the fall festival season. A few surprises could (probably will) sneak in. I’m thinking maybe Chazelle’s “Babylon” ultimately decides to go the way of fall festivals. Roman Polanski’s “The Palace” could be ready. Maybe even Yorgo Lanthimos’ “Poor Things” …
