I’ve added new lists that weren’t in the original post: Sofia Coppola, Ali Abassi, Edward Berger, Zack Cregger, Atom Egoyan, Gareth Evans, Michel Franco, Miguel Gomes, Rose Glass, Hong Sangsoo, Neil Jordan, Richard Kelly, Justin Kurzel, David Lowery, Michael Moore, Alexander Payne, Daniel Scheinert and Florian Zeller.

Check out “All Quiet on the Western Front” filmmaker Edward Berger’s list, which is very contemporary and includes “The Killing of A Sacred Deer” and “Sicario”.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Branagh’s list has “Cloud Atlas,” “Monster” and “Lady Bird.”

Justin Kurzel’s all-time list has “Step Brothers.”

I love how Sofia Coppola decided to include papa’s “Rumble Fish” in her top ten. The 1983 film has had a much-welcomed reappraisal in recent years.

EEAO co-director Daniel Scheinert’s list is as eccentric as one might expect: “Wet Hot American Summer” and Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You” music video are on there. The oldest film on his list is “Tampopo” (1986).

EARLIER: We are not going to wait until January, which is when Sight and Sound will publish the individual ballots, but we also won’t be publishing all 458 lists.

I’ve been playing detective this afternoon and sniffing around for top tens from the directors’ poll, a Twitter use (linked above) is spilling the majority of them. So far, 45 or so have been found. We’ll keep updating this post anytime a new list pops up.
